Chosen by Liam Davies as their favourite ever goal:

30th May 2004. Brighton v Bristol City League Two play-off Final at the Millennium Stadium. Six-year-old me was attending my first ever football game. My recollection of the game itself is patchy at best, but the feeling of euphoria and adrenaline when Leon Knight fired in that 84th minute winning penalty will live with me forever. Being lifted up by my dad to get a better view of the penalty and the ensuing chaotic celebrations from the Brighton half of the ground is one I never wish to forget. The roar of the Albion faithful was ear-piercing. There’s certainly worse first goals to witness live. The goal was over 17 years ago, but to this day remains far and away my favourite ever goal I’ve seen live. Since the minute that ball hit the back of the net I’ve remained an avid Brighton fan, I even still have the flag pinned up on my bedroom wall that I had draped over me that day. I have this goal to thank for the countless incredible football memories I’ve had since that unforgettable day back in 2004.
