James Rodriguez: Colombia v Uruguay 2014

James Rodriguez went into the 2014 World Cup as a young player with plenty of potential and left as a household name destined to be the next Galactico. Scoring 6 goals in 5 matches as Colombia reached the quarter finals, this was the pick of the bunch and eventually was voted the best goal that year winning him the 2014 Puskas award. With his back to goal James controlled the ball on his chest an turned in one movement, striking a venomous volley which clipped the underside of the bar as it went in. Superb.
