My favourite goal is Drogba’s header in the Champions League final against Bayern. Chelsea were literally seconds away from losing, backs against the wall all game, and then Mata swings the corner in and Drogba rises above everyone and powers it home. The celebrations, the noise, the emotion, it felt like the whole world stopped for a second. You could just feel that Chelsea weren’t done yet. That goal gave everyone belief. And then to go on and actually win on penalties, unbelievable! It wasn’t just a header, it was the moment Chelsea finally became champions of Europe, and for Drogba, it meant his final kick in a Chelsea shirt was the winning penalty.
