Cesc Fabregas: Arsenal v Tottenham 2009

My Favourite Goal from Tiki Taka Connor.

My favourite goal is a bit different to the norm because if you were watching on the TV you did not even have a chance to see it hit the back of the net live. It was a North London Derby and half-time was closing in when Robin van Persie gave the gunners the lead. 1-0 to the Arsenal. The audience would be treated to replays of the Dutchman’s strike by the director. Whilst this is going on, captain Cesc Fàbregas picked up the loose ball from kick-off and ran out the Spurs goal. He squeezes between the central midfield pair of Jermaine Jenas and Wilson Palacios before leaving Ledley King and Vedran Ćorluka in his wake before slotting past the helpless Heurelho Gomes. The Emirates would erupt in disbelief from going from a stalemate to a 2-0 lead in as many minutes.
