Ian Botham's Ashes
Our infographic cricket posters illustrate the greatest ever moments with the bat and ball, as abstract art prints. This print maps out the moment Ian Botham completed a fabulous century in a stellar performance throughout the 1981 Ashes. The perfect gift for any England cricket fan.
My favourite Cricket Moment from Dan Whiting
Headingley in July 1981. The country torn apart by riots and we were about to lose an Ashes series. A magical 149 not out by Ian Botham gave England a chance but the Aussies still only needed 130 to win. Enter Bob. Steaming down the hill, I have visions of him yorking Ray Bright, his middle stump uprooted. Bob, turns away, arms aloft as a pitch invasion occurs. Magical and turned the summer around. Well that and Diana/Charles wedding where everyone got a day off work!
