Thierry Henry: Arsenal v Sparta Prague 2005

£20.00

Thierry Henry was a classy operator on the pitch and this was his classy record breaking strike for Arsenal. After being called into action after 15 minutes for the first time since a lengthy lay-off through injury, Henry set about dismantling Sparta Prague. It took just 6 minutes to get his first, controlling a long ball from Toure before delightfully curling the ball in off the outside of his right boot. This drew him level with Ian Wright's 185 record. Then came the moment to claim the record for himself, and he didn't pass it up. Holding off two defenders after receiving the ball from Pires, before slotting home.
