Chosen by Graeme Bailey as his favourite goal:

As a Middlesbrough fan there are a number of goals in recent years that stand-out to me, and my favourite for a long-time was from my favourite all-time Boro player Emerson. He scored a number of great goals but the best for me was a brilliant long-range goal at Sunderland at the now gone Roker Park. But my favourite goal at the moment is a recent effort and one that is very special to me…it came just a matter of weeks ago when Boro travelled to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United. My eight-year old son Lucas is really starting to like football and I am happy to see him becoming a Boro fan, but this was his first away game as a fan. He loved seeing the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba strutting their stuff at the Theatre of Dreams and to be honest after Jadon Sancho scored not many of us thought we still had a chance. But as the game went on, we knew we had a chance and then the moment came – Duncan Watmore took the ball down in the box, did his thing and Matt Crooks came in at the far post, actually near us Boro fans, to find the net. The goal went to VAR and being at Old Trafford we expected the worst, but then it was given – so we almost got two celebrations in one. After that, the game changed…and we know how it ended, but that goal – the look on my son’s face and the atmosphere. He is only 8, but he might never experience a result like that again, he may never see Boro scoring at United again. A very special goal for me.
