Chosen by Connor Southwell as his favourite ever goal:

Sadly, I wasn’t alive to witness the brilliance of Jeremy Goss’ volley against Bayern Munich, otherwise that would have been the obvious candidate for my goal choice. Instead, I’ve made my selection on how this goal made me feel. The context around it was important, Norwich were pushing at the top of the Championship for back-to-back promotions and a return to the Premier League for the first time since 2004/05. I was stood at the opposite end of the ground praying for divine intervention and willing the ball to go over the line. The game had been epic. Norwich led twice. Derby pegged them back twice. Simeon Jackson, who was in a rich vein of goalscoring form, had produced two excellent goals prior to that dramatic late winner. But everything about the moment was unbelievable. Time seemed to stand still as the ball dropped for Russell Martin inside the box. His shot was blocked on the line. It hit Jackson’s knee and time seemed to standstill. Carrow Road fell silent. Then came the eruption of noise. The pandemonium. It was the goal that took City within inches of a Premier League return. I was just 11 years old. It’s the first and only time I have cried in happiness. This was a special time to support Norwich City.
