Goal story: This may well be the most dramatic moment in football. Ever. Jimmy Glass was brought in to Carlisle on emergency loan to cover for the final three games of the season. With Carlisle languishing second from bottom, they needed a win to stay in the football league. It was 0-0 at half time but they soon went down 1-0 and they're chances looked to be fading. David Brightwell gave the fans some hope with an equaliser but the winner didn't look to be forthcoming. It came down to the last 10 seconds in the 4th minute of added time. A corner. Up came Jimmy Glass, goalkeeper. Scott Dobie managed to direct a header on target but straight at the keeper, who parried it. With the ball dropping on the edge of the six yard box that man Jimmy was in the right spot at the right time to blast it home. Glass had saved Carlisle.
